Apple Tree 2014 Class
Very soon, the little tots will be graduating soon, I have this sudden feeling that I can't describe..
I certainly miss school as much as Olinda.
Thinking back, the decision to put her in Apple Tree Playgroup was such a sudden and impromptu one.. It didn't come across anyone of us that Olinda will landed up there. Just a phone call from Teacher Gauri followed up with a visit to the school. There she goes... wearing the very distinctive red color uniform every morning.. always feel proud of her flimsy school bag, she proudly proclaimed herself as a Apple Tree Playgroup student!
We have our good times whereby she goes to school as planned and ended the lesson happily with an extra half an hour to one "curriculum" just right outside the classroom with a few of her friends. It was really fun!
We have our bad times too when everything just don't seem to fall into place. It's really devasting at times having to shout, scream at her when she threw her tantrum. Or the need to pay a visit to the irritating vending machine just outside the classroom.
In a flash of light, all these will soon form a big part of all our memory. I do hope the kids will also remember this very important chapter of their life. The day they all stepped into school, having an identity of their own playing each and individual role inside the classroom, being a studious student to a drummer, a chatterbox or simply as a destroyer!
It must be hard on Teacher Gauri and Aunty Tien having to manage this group of children. :) I'm thankful my kid ended up in the hand of these two person. Heartfelt gratitude to them for being so patient with her and forever loving her as what a parent will do.
Thank You Apple Tree 2014 Class, u have formed a very important part of my memory as a mum, a very important chapter of my child's life as she know what is called a school.
Happy story continues... 6:17 PM
