Mi Casa @ Treelodge Part 7


Always feel very excited when we are heading towards our unit to see what are the latest updates.

The painting guys are here to do up the walls according to the colors that we chose couple of days ago. Efficient huh! =D That's the way.. ah huh.. ah huh! I like it.. ah huh.. ah huh...

Hahaha

Uncle saw us snapping photos and told us to go back tomorrow to see more colors as today primarily doing up the 1st coating.

Actually the main motive of popping over today is not to see how the painting goes but to wait for the delivery of our house lightings.

To our dismay, there are quite a number of defects or rather rejected goods that we can't accept. Sigh...

After meeting Jason to choose the kitchen working top material, we made our way to the lighting shop in Geylang to do the swopping. This is when slight hiccups occurred. =(
He was asking in a tone why we didn't ask the delivery guy to send back those rejected items, we were huh??? You didn't instruct us in the first place for items that we are not satisfied. While we aren't grumbling about making extra trip down, he actually sound as if we are at fault. haiz...

What really make me angry was he was asking us to send back the goods and pick up the ok one on our own as they don't own personal transport. What make them assume we have a car then?

This kinda of sour my day but Wilson made it up by bringing me to eat durian. Arghh we spent $48 on a 2.7kg D24 durian which doesn't really taste fantastic. =(

We spent the rest of the day fixing delivery for the toilet vanity cupboard and accessories to be send to the house for installation.

Yes we finally settled our bed frame! Got it from Serta, as we have really been sourcing for our *ideal* bed frame since don't know when but to our disappointment, nothing really caught our eye. Thank god, we found it and settled it today spending only $599!

*side topic* I got myself 2 new maternity top today at Perfect Mum, actually there to see how the nursing bras works and cost but I got 2 tops instead. Really lucky that they are having sales now. phew!
